| Take off the sharks cover from main unit. |
|
|
| Put the k8 clip
downward of the
main unit. |
|
|
|
|
|
| Then, take back the
sharks cover and
screw it. |
|
|
| Apply the proper
amount of thermal
paste on the CPU die. |
|
|
|
|
|
Place the main unit
onto the CPU die, and
put the clip down into
the one side of retention
holder. |
|
|
| Then, lock the other
clip from left to right. |
|
|
|
|
|
|

INTEL LGA775 |
|
|
|
Please remove the
original CPU cooler,
put the retention clip
into the motherboard. |
|
|
Put the clip with block
of main unit, then
screw it. |
|
|
|
|
|
| Apply the proper
amount of thermal
paste on the CPU
die. |
|
|
Place the main unit
onto the CPU die, and
the clip go through the
retention clip. |
|
|
|
|
|
| Lock the attached
screws of clip step
by step. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
